Information and Communications Technology for Accountability (ICT-A) seeks to explore ways to activate ICT networks to measure and promote accountability and public service delivery. Rapid expansion of information and communication technology in the developing world enhances our capacity to reduce poverty and accelerate citizen empowerment.
The ICT-A portion of the DIL Portfolio is curated by the University of California, San Diego and its Policy Design and Evaluation Lab (PDEL). PDEL is an international focal point for rigorous empirical research on the interplay of public policy, technology, and economic development.
